Abstract submission, registration and payment must all be done at the same time by completing the form below.

PLEASE NOTE: You will receive written confirmation of your payment and the successful registration via email. This might take a few hours or days. Please carefully check your inbox to make sure you received both emails.

You will be able to select whether you wish to submit an abstract for a poster or an oral presentation. Abstracts must have a title on the first line, followed by a full author list on the second line, then followed by the author affiliations on the third line. The abstract should then follow, limited to 500 words, and organized into an introduction of the topic and scientific question addressed, a description of the results, and an overview of the implications. Please paste your title, author list, affiliations, and abstract together into the text box within the registration form below.

Poster Session

Don’t forget to print your poster before your trip. Please bring your poster in portrait format A0 (84,1 cm x 118,9 cm or 33.1 inches x 46.8 inches).


What is covered by the registration fee?

We are only allowing in-person participation. However, the fee gives you access to both the in-person conference and a virtual conference platform.

Abstract submission and admission to all scientific sessions and networking mixer on Monday 22nd July.

Access to recorded on-demand sessions and digital posters through the virtual conference platform until 6 months after the conference.

Coffee/tea and snacks during breaks and poster sessions from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th July 2024, Welcome reception on Monday 22nd, lunch is not included (within a ten minute walk is the city centre of Vienna)

What are the payment modalities?

Payment of registration fees, must be made in EURO through credit card payment using either Mastercard or Visa at the time of conference registration and abstract submission.

Please note that bank transfers and cash payments on site will NOT be possible!

I need an invoice for my registration fee. How do I get it?

Access the Registration Form and follow the steps to register for the meeting. Once the credit card payment has been processed, a payment confirmation will be automatically generated as pdf and sent to you by email. If you need an invoice send us an email. Please, do not forget to mention the invoice address to which the invoice should be issued, your personal address, your university address, institution, company, and VAT number, if applicable.

What are the cancellation and refund rules?

Cancellations made after registration cannot be refunded for any reason. No refunds will be granted for unattended events or early termination of attendance, in case of cancellation of speakers, or any other incidents during the conference, which are beyond the control of the conference organisers. By registering to the ICQG7, delegates agree that neither the organising committee nor the conference organisers assume any liability whatsoever. Delegates are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance. The conference fee does not include insurance.

Can I register accompanying persons?

Of course, anyone can travel with you, but based on European compliance regulations, the ICQG conference is only accessible to professionals, industry representatives and other stakeholders in the area of quantitative genetics. It is not possible to purchase any accompanying registration for non-professionals or children to the conference.

Will there be a networking evening?

Yes! The networking evening will be on Monday 22nd after the conference has closed for the first day. It will be a great opportunity to meet with friends and colleagues from around the world in a relaxed atmosphere. Drinks and light snacks will be provided and admission is covered within the registration fee.

Will I receive confirmation of registration?

All delegates will receive written confirmation of registration by e-mail when the registration form has been submitted and the payment has been made.
